On Saturday, Bethesda has a biosafety and security discussion with FBI agent Ed You, who has been kept busy lately with the use of engineered yeast to create opiates. Ljubljana has a meeting to make some beer, and discuss their kickstarter project. Seattle has Dr. Reitha Weeks leading a workshop on the Science of Lotions. Sunnyvale has Connor Dickie & Justin Pahara, PhD, leading a workshop on doing assemblies to create colorful bacteria using an interesting method.
